Workshop “Better skills for increased employability in rural areas: the role of VET”
March 25 2015

In 2014, the ETF has carried out a study to assess the situation of VET in the agriculture sector: the research has included visits to colleges and universities, elaboration of questionnaires by the colleges as well, interviews with stakeholders. Based on this background study, the European Commission is considering the possibility of including in the financial assistance 2015 the support to the Government of Armenia for the process of modernisation of vocational education and training in the field of agriculture.

So GDF organised workshop “Better Skills for Increased Employability in rural Areas: the Role of Vocational Education and Training” on 25 March 2015 in “Elite Plaza” Business Centre and the objective of the event was to identify the priorities for this assistance as well as to discuss and agree on the expected results and the criteria for assessment.
