“Global Developments” Fund (GDF) is a non-governmental organisation established in December, 2001. The GDF’s mission is to support development and international integration processes in Armenia focusing on the reforms of education, vocational training, employment, youth and women affaires, as well as other social spheres.

GDF has been implementing various projects in the frameworks of which a number of consultancy services (studies, surveys, researches, expertise, informational and analytical works) were provided and different types of events (trainings, seminars, workshops, conferences, round tables) were organised.

GDF closely collaborates with the National authorities (Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Labour and Social Issues, Ministry of Economy, other line ministries), local organisations acting in the field of VET and LM (National VET Development Council, National VET Development Centre, Educational institutions and other VET providers, State Employment Service Agency, National Institute for Labour and Social Research), international organisations (European Training Foundation, UNDP, World Bank, dvv-International, World Vision, British Council, etc.) as well as with local NGOs.

The main fields of GDF activities are:
•    Design and implementation of development programmes and projects;
•    Provision of consultancy;
•    Organisation and implementation of research, expertise, informational-analytical works;
•    Implementation of training, retraining and other courses;
•    Organisation and logistical support of different events;
•    Publishing works.

Since 2000 GDF is recognised as a UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre in Armenia
