Torino Process Armenia - Launching Workshop

On 15 April 2016, “Global Developments” Fund with the technical and financial support of the European Training Foundation (ETF) and with the close collaboration of RA Ministry of Education and Science organised Torino Process Armenia - Launching Workshop in Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry. During the event Mr Vincent McBride, ETF country manager for Armenia and Ms Armenuhi Poghosyan, Head of VET Policy Making and Strategy Division,who is also Torino Process Coordinator for Armenia presented the history of the Torino Process in Armenia since 2010 and the difference of the new structure of the Report for 2016. Participants who were the representatives from Ministries and agencies, social partner and donor organisations were divided into 3 Working Groups (WG) to discuss the shortened version of the questions of the Torino Process Guide worked out by Mr Vincent McBride. The WGs were facilitated by Ms Shushanik Barseghyan, Vice-President, Republican Union of Employers of Armenia; Ms Tatevik Gasparyan, Director of National Centre for Vocational Education Development;  and Mr Vahagn Hovhannisyan from State Employment Agency. After the presentation of WG feedback the participants were informed on the future steps and the time schedule for 2016 Armenia Torino Process Report.
