Taking into consideration the vital necessity to strengthen the cooperation between the international donor organisations acting in the field of education and the Government of Armenia as well as the need to increase the efficiency of donors’ contribution to the educational reforms, the GDF with the assistant of ETF organised a workshop with participation of the main donors which was kindly hosted by the RA Ministry of Economy. During the workshop the practical means and methodology of their activities coordination were discussed and the mechanism for effective cooperation was agrred.

In the framework of ETF project, GDF organised Social Partnership dissemination workshop. The main objective of the Workshop was to present the results of the project and to discuss the prospective of development of Social Partnership in the field of VET. College Directors, Governing Board Chairs, Directors of local employment centres, as well as high officials from the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Labour and Social Issues, EC Delegation to Armenia, representatives of international organisations including ETF participated in the workshop.

In the framework of ETF project GDF organised seminar for policy-makers, business leaders, researchers and practitioners. The main objective of this seminar was to understand better the policy and operational links between education policies and economic policies that aim at sustainable economic development and national competitiveness. This seminar focused on global competitiveness measurements and European strategies related to education and training for creativity, innovation and economic competitiveness.
